In the Fall of 2025, Kenneth portrayed John Jasper in The Mystery of Edwin Drood at the Manhattan School of Music. Once again under the helm of Evan Pappas, he was able to fine-tune his comedic chops and practice his angry Bari-Tenor belt, while also finding a unique bend of improv comedy and raw emotional truth. It’s the most unique show he has ever done, and he cherished the opportunity to perform Rupert Holmes’s uniquely uplifting and rousing story!
During June of 2025, Kenneth performed with Shakespeare on the Sound in their production of Macbeth, directed by Axel Avin Jr. He played Donalbain and the Young Siward, and covered Macbeth, performing in the role once. The opportunity to work with such dense and meaningful text made Kenneth fall in love with Shakespeare during the process. He hopes to be able to do more similar work in the future!
In March of 2025, Kenneth played Cinderella’s Prince and the Wolf in Into the Woods at the Manhattan School of Music, directed by Evan Pappas. He cherished the opportunity to play roles with such duality, and particularly loved performing “Hello, Little Girl”, choreographed as a traditional song-and-dance number by Lorna Ventura. This is a dream show and a dream role that he would love to be able to perform again!
In November of 2024 Kenneth was overjoyed to dance in the ensemble of The Pajama Game at the Manhattan School of Music. Chloe Treat’s direction and Sebastiani Romagnolo’s choreography completely livened the piece, and worked perfectly alongside the music, conducted by David Loud, making the experience joyous and exciting, a true golden age delight!
